Easter Bonnet Parade San Francisco
Join us for an afternoon of
elegance and style

Behind the Parade
Celebrating Style, Grace, and West Coast Imagination
The Easter Bonnet Parade began as a slow stroll up Fifth Avenue, where New Yorkers turned the sidewalk into a runway and a simple hat into a declaration of taste, humor, and hope.
Over time it became a living theater of fashion, faith, and self-expression, a tradition where spectators and participants blurred into one glittering crowd.
San Francisco’s edition honors that legacy while writing a new chapter on this side of the continent. Here, the bonnet becomes a canvas for the city’s own vocabulary of style: fog and neon, Victorian filigree and street art, avant-garde silhouettes and heirloom florals. It is an invitation for artists, milliners, vintage lovers, and everyday romantics to interpret the classic Easter promenade through a distinctly San Francisco lens.
This parade is not judged by price tags or perfection, but by imagination. Hand-stitched ribbons, upcycled trinkets, family heirlooms, and sculptural showpieces all share the same sidewalk. The goal is to create a moving gallery where grace feels welcoming, where elegance has a sense of humor, and where every participant, from child to grandparent, contributes to the spectacle.
By gathering once a year to dress up, stroll, and admire one another, we keep two cities in conversation: New York’s storied Fifth Avenue and San Francisco’s ever-evolving streets.
The tradition we inherit is one of beauty and celebration. The tradition we create is one of community, creativity, and the simple joy of being seen.

The Spirit of
San Francisco
Join Us to Celebrate Traditions, Gathering, Style, and Creativity.
San Francisco has always been a stage for reinvention. From bohemian salons to beatnik cafés, from couture on Grant Avenue to the counterculture blooming in Golden Gate Park, this city has treated self-expression as a civic virtue.
The Easter Bonnet Parade joins that lineage. It is a moment for neighbors, artists, families, and visitors to gather in shared celebration. A chance to turn the ordinary act of walking down the street into an ephemeral work of collective art.
This event belongs to everyone who believes San Francisco’s beauty is not just in its hills or history, but in the people who choose to show up for one another in style.
